Search Engine Optimization Services
Client is required to give access to online accounts pertaining to online marketing including website, Google Places and other social media. Client acknowledges independently operated search engines use their own algorithm for search results; the client must follow all SEO recommendations and give advanced notice before any major design or content changes to client’s website. Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design is not responsible for unauthorized changes by client or other third parties which can cause a substantial time delay in these results and additional service charges will be invoiced to fix these issues.
A. Billing
Services are billed at the beginning of every thirty days and due 30 days from invoice receipt. Payment types accepted include Check, Money Order, PayPal, Visa, AMEX or Mastcard. A credit card is required from new clients for Monthly SEO in order to avoid delays in service. Automatic payments are available and highly recommended with no additional processing charge. After the allotted 30 days client gives authorization for Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design to charge credit/debit card with a 5% processing fee for the outstanding amount.

B. Website Maintenance
Updates to website including functionality, copy, images and forms under a monthly SEO agreement are billed per hour at a discounted rate of $45/hour and applied to following invoice. Additional services such as graphic design, printing and video production are subject to a 15% service fee with 100% of invoice due upon acceptance.
C. Content Writing Services
Professionally written articles are supplied by Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design for the monthly SEO service agreement. This content is not required to be approved by client before upload to the website. If requested, each article can be submitted and approved by client and will be subject to an additional $95.00 monthly service fee.
Web Design Services
Any additional hard costs such as graphic design, stock photos and premium plug-ins will be approved by client and added to final invoice. Other services not covered in this agreement will require an additional RFP and agreement by both parties. You receive website maintenance for 1 month after website is loaded to the server or made “live”. Updates included are minor changes to the text, colors or images. These do not include additional plugins, functionality, navigation changes, new pages, galleries, contact forms, shopping carts, checkouts or fixing any repairs caused by attempted client updates.
A. Billing
75% deposit is due upon contract signing and the final 25% due within 7 business days of completion. The deposit is by cash or check only and is non-refundable. Client is required to supply credit card number before start of project and authorizes Megan Leigh to charge this account at late payment status. After website approval and payment period of 7 days expires, the remaining 25% remaining balance will automatically be charged to card on file.
B. Content Requirements
Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design does make available content creation services to all clients purchasing a website. Client can opt out of these services by writing the website copy to the requirements submitted by Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design. By doing so, client is responsible for submitting content within 30 days of deposit submitted. Further delay, Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design can discontinue the project without refund of deposit. Website copy is expected to be unique and grammatically sound or an editing fee of $95.00 per page will be applied to the final invoice to correct errors. It is highly recommended not to give the go ahead on website production until you have content readily available.
C. Maintenance
Website updates are to be maintained by client, 1 hour tutorial is offered upon completion of website. Further development is billed at a per project price or hourly rate. Hourly rate is minimum one hour at $75.00/hour via credit card or PayPal due in advance.
Hosting Services
Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design is able to provide hosting and email services. Hosting is billed semi-annually at market rate. Client is billed for first 6 months with final web design payment. Client is responsible to submit all usernames and passwords of hosting, domain registrar and email at the time of contract signing. A base fee of $250.00 dollars will be applied to invoice for website migration onto or from our server. Additional time required to reset these passwords will be billed at the standard maintenance rate of $75.00/hour.
A. Training
Each web design package includes a FREE 1 hour virtual tutorial on the WordPress back-end upon clients request. This will be scheduled and conducted during normal business hours. This tutorial will cover logging in to the website, changing pictures, website copy, plugin settings, adding users, creating backups and advanced areas to be avoided. Additional training will be billed at $125.00/hour and paid in advance. 1 hour training session at clients location is available for an additional $195.oo required to be scheduled and paid in advance.
B. Email Setup on Outlook
Each web design package includes unlimited professional domain name email addresses. Client is responsible for setting this email up on Outlook and will be provided detailed steps on how to configure the email address on Outlook and/or iPhone. Virtual assistance with set-up and maintenance of email is charged at the hourly training rate of $125.00.
Other
Cancellation
Agreement can be canceled by either party with 30 days written notice. Charges for any work in progress or completed during design or monthly service will be charged to client’s account. All login and content will be turned over to client.
Service Hours
Professional services are quoted during the Hours of operation are during regular business hours (8:00a.m. to 5:00pm. Monday-Friday), this does not include normal holidays. Work performed outside of normal business hours are subject to additional charges. Any emergency including but not limited to server, email and website services not covered in initial agreement are subject to hourly rates with additional service charges.
Referral Program
If referred client signs a project agreement with Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design, client will receive a 20% discount on any future service provided not to exceed $150.00. This referral fee cannot be applied to current, late or existing balances.
Miscellaneous
- Client allows Megan Leigh to reference services including website screen shots and testimonials.
- Megan Leigh SEO and Web Design is not responsible for any unauthorized changes by client or other third parties.
